It's SHOWTIME!
THE MARCHING BUCCANEERS PLACED FIRST IN CLASS AAA THIS AFTERNOON DURING THE PRELIMINARY ROUND OF THE WGI FRIENDSHIP CUP. OSWEGO RECEIVED A SCORE OF 85.15! SECOND IN CLASS AAA WAS McLEAN H.S. FROM VIRGINIA. THE MARCHING BUCCANEERS WON 4 OUT OF 5 CAPTION AWARDS INCLUDING, BEST MARCHING, BEST GENERAL EFFECT, BEST PERCUSSION AND BEST AUXILIARY(GUARD). OSWEGO WAS THE HIGHEST SCORING BAND THIS AFTERNOON AND WILL PERFORM LAST DURING THE FINALS TONIGHT.
TONIGHT THE MARCHING BUCS WON THE WGI FRIENDSHIP CUP COMPETITION!!! The Bucs received a final score of 85.9 and captured the following other trophies as well... Best Visual, Best General Effect, and Best Percussion!!!! Awesome job Buccaneers!!!!!!! A special outstanding soloist award was also given to senior saxophonist Ryan Syrell. Congratulations on all your hard work.

Drum major Julia Baer and Asst. Drum Major and Soloist Maggie Marturano have so many trophies they can hardly carry them!!!!! Now that's something to be proud of!
