Oswego High School Marching Buccaneers will once again be on the
national spot-light come With
a band size approaching 175 members, Mr. Palange informed the members
that “This year’s program will have a special segment involving all
the band members and percussion type instruments, stay tuned for more
details.” For the new band members in the program, marching practice will begin in late June, when the veteran band members join the “rookies” in preparation for their biggest community event, the 4th of July Parade. The
1999 edition of the Marching Buccaneers known as “The Pride of
Oswego”, look to carry on the tradition of music excellence that has
long been associated with the Oswego City School District as they
kick-off their fundraising drive towards 2000 and the Fiesta Bowl
activities. |
